Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh spinach
    1 medium head lettuce
    6 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 lb. bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 pkg. buttermilk (Ranch style) salad dressing mix
Preparation
    Tear lettuce and spinach in bite size chunks.
