Pepparhokor(Spice Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 stick margarine
    2 medium eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift together these dry ingredients.
    Stir both mixtures together.
    Cover and chill for several hours or overnight.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
    Roll out dough on a floured board, about 1/8-inch thick.
    (Roll out a small amount at a time, keeping remaining dough in refrigerator.)
    Cut out with floured cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
    Cool and decorate.
