Fresh Mushroom Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 lb. fresh mushrooms (regular, shiitake or a combination), coarsely chopped
    1/3 c. finely chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry or chicken broth
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1/4 c. minced parsley
Preparation
    In a wide frying pan, melt butter over medium heat.
    Add mushrooms and onion and cook, stirring often, until mushrooms are browned (about 15 minutes).
    Mix in sherry.
