Rumaki - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. chicken livers
1/2 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 thin slices fresh ginger root or 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
10 slices bacon
Preparation

Cut chicken livers into halves; cut water chestnuts crosswise into halves.
Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger root and garlic in glass or plastic bowl; stir in chicken livers and water chestnuts. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours; drain.
Cut bacon slices into halves.
Wrap piece of liver and piece of chestnut in each bacon piece.
Secure with wooden pick.
Arrange on rack in broiler pan.
Cook in 400\u00b0 oven, turning once, until bacon is crisp, 25 to 30 minutes.
