Quick Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
    3/4 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Combine margarine, corn syrup, peanut butter, salt and vanilla in large bowl.
    Stir in powdered sugar gradually.
    Turn onto board and knead until well blended and smooth.
    Add nuts gradually, pressing and kneading into candy.
    Press out with hands or rolling pin into square 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut into serving pieces.
    Yield: 2 pounds fudge.
