Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
    choice of filling
Preparation
    Blend flour, salt and shortening in mixing bowl.
    Add milk and vinegar; mix well.
    Roll out dough 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into squares.
    Fill lower right-hand corner with filling (2 to 3 tablespoons).
    Pull top left over filling; meet edges and pinch. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool on pan.
    Can be topped with glaze.
