Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. chicken or chicken parts
    salt to taste
    1 bay leaf
    2 stalks celery
    1 large onion
    4 or more potatoes, cubed
    1 or 2 carrots
    1 c. peas (canned, frozen or leftovers)
Preparation
    Wash chicken thoroughly and put in kettle with water to cover. Add salt to taste and bay leaf; cook.
    Meanwhile, wash and prepare celery, onion, potatoes, carrots and peas.
    When chicken is about half done, remove bay leaf and add the cut up vegetables. Cook on low heat until done.
    Remove chicken; leave in pieces or remove skin and bones and cut up in smaller pieces.
