Vinegar Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    5 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt. Work in shortening until mixture is the consistency of cornmeal. Bet egg lightly; add water and stir, then add vinegar. Blend into flour mixture to form a soft dough. Gather into a ball. Cut in half. Chill for 10 to 15 minutes. Flour board well and roll each half into a circle 1-inch larger than pie pan. Fit into pan and flute edges.
