Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cubed beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    3 Tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce
    2 onions, quartered
    2 potatoes, cubed
    3 carrots, sliced
    1/2 c. celery, diced
Preparation
    Sprinkle
    beef
    with salt, sugar and pepper.
    Brown well in oil.
    Add
    water and bouillon cubes.
    Cover.
    Simmer 1 hour or until
    meat is almost tender.
    Stir in 57 sauce and vegetables. Cover.
    Simmer
    1
    hour
    or until vegetables are tender. Thicken with a flour and water mixture.
