Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix.
    Combine remaining mix with butter and 1 egg.
    Mix until crumbly.
    Press in bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 15 or 20 minutes or until brown.
