Ingredients

1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/4 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Moisten the seed with the water in a small bowl, set aside.
Mix the dry ingredients together, then cut in the shortening.
Stir in the eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Roll out the dough into logs, the same thickness as a soft pretzel.
Cut into two-inch pieces and roll pieces in the seeds.
Place onto greased baking sheets, 1 inch apart, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
