Fluffy Party Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar (granulated)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend flour, milk and salt.
    Cook until thick for 5 to 7 minutes.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly for about 5 minutes.
    Add the cooled flour paste and the vanilla, a small amount at a time.
    Beat at high speed with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
    Makes a large amount of frosting.
