Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
1 lb. box brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
4 egg yolks
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 egg whites
powdered sugar
Preparation

Melt oleo and add sugars.
Blend well.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to oleo, sugars and egg yolks.
Fold in nuts and vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into batter.
Grease and flour a 9x
13-inch pan. Spread batter evenly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
When done, sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
Cool.
Cut into squares.
