Grandma'S Teacakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
4 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time. Add flour to egg mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Add vanilla. Cover and chill 1 hour. Roll into 1/4-inch thickness and cut out. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven 10 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
