Sopapillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. shortening (quarter size)
    enough warm water to work dough
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and roll out dough on floured cutting board.
    Shape in 5-inch circles 1/8-inch thick and deep fry in very hot oil.
    Move sopaipilla around so the dough begins to puff up.
