Tea Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 heaping c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Combine buttermilk and water.
Set aside.
Combine flour and soda.
Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla. Add butter, milk and flour alternately.
Drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
