Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. sauerkraut
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 medium onion, sliced thin
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. white vinegar
Preparation

Drain sauerkraut and wash in cold water.
Squeeze out all excess water.
Add sugar and set aside until sugar dissolves.
Add all other ingredients.
Mix thoroughly.
Flavor improves if kept in refrigerator overnight.
