Lemon Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2-1/4 c. flour
1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. lemon juice
Preparation

Sift 2 cups flour and powdered sugar.
Cut in butter until creamy.
Press into greased 9 X 13 baking pan and bake 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Beat sugar, eggs, and juice.
Sift together 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
Add to egg mixture. Pour over baked crust.
Bake again 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
