Grandmother'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cubed beef
    1 c. celery
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
    3 or 4 potatoes, cut in quarters
    2 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato juice
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in covered casserole.
    Bake 5 hours at 250\u00b0 or 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 325\u00b0.
