Hot And Sour Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 can bamboo shoots
    1/2 can water chestnuts
    1 can mushrooms
    1 lb. tofu, cut in cubes
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch in 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    black pepper and salt to taste
    snow peas
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Heat broth to boil.
    Add vegetables and cook 1 minute.
    Add cornstarch mixture and cook until thick.
    Drop in beaten egg and stir.
    Turn off heat and add 3 tablespoons vinegar.
    Season with Tabasco.
