Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. margarine
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, not sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat margarine and Crisco together until fluffy. Beat in sugars.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
Gradually sift in flour, baking soda and salt. Add chocolate chips and nuts by hand. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
