Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. cut up tomatoes (skin off)
    2 to 3 hot jalapeno peppers, chop
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. salt
    8 onions
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    12 oz. can tomato paste
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until thick.
    Pour in jars and seal.
