Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. apples, peeled and chopped
1 c. raisins
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. soda
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour

Preparation

Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
Add apples, raisins, coconut and nuts; stir thoroughly.
Add soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in flour until batter is very stiff.
Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
Cake may be iced with creamy icing, if desired.
