12 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 large green pepper
    1 red onion
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. fried bacon
Preparation
    In a 9 x 13-inch or larger dish, cut up head of lettuce and shred on bottom of dish.
    Mix onion, celery and peas.
    Spread evenly over lettuce.
