Hominy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. bacon
    1 large can hominy
    1 medium onion
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 lb. mild cheese, grated
Preparation
    Fry bacon; reserve and crumble.
    Fry hominy and onion in 2 cups bacon fat until lightly browned.
    Add flour, tomatoes and season.
    Cook over medium heat about 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add crumbled bacon.
    Pour into greased casserole.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
