Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage, cut in long strips
    2 large onions, sliced
    1 1/4 sticks real butter
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 bag cornbread Stove Top dressing mix
Preparation
    In a pot, cover cabbage with water and cook 20 minutes; drain. Saute onions in butter. Mix ingredients together, except cornbread dressing. Pour into a baking dish. Put 1/2 bag dressing mix on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
