Apple Or Crab Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. fruit pulp (boiled and mashed apples)
    7 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or 1/2 tsp. allspice (you can add more spice if you like)
    1/2 bottle fruit pectin (Certo)
Preparation
    Measure fruit pulp and sugar into a large saucepan.
    Add spices.
    Place over high heat and bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard for 1 minute.
    Stir constantly.
    Remove from heat and at once, stir in Certo.
    Skim off foam with metal spoon.
    Stir and skim for 5 minutes.
    Ladle into glasses.
    Cover at once 1/8-inch hot paraffin.
