Cheesecake Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz. size) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    3 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 (3/4 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    In mixer bowl, beat together cream cheese, the sugar and almond extract until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each at low speed just until blended.
    Pour into an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes or until set and knife inserted just off center comes out clean.
    Stir together sour cream, 3 tablespoons of sugar and the vanilla.
    Carefully spread on top of hot \"pie\".
    Cool.
    Sprinkle almonds on top.
    Cover and chill until serving time.
    Makes 6 servings.
