Poor Man'S Cake(Raisin Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box raisins
2 sticks margarine
3 c. water
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. lukewarm water

Preparation

Boil first 3 ingredients for 10 minutes.
Sift together the next 7 ingredients.
Mix baking soda in lukewarm water.
Add this to raisin mixture and stir into flour mixture by hand.
Pour into nongreased tube cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
