Spaghetti Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. Italian sausage (hot or sweet) or ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, broken up
1/3 c. water
3/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp. each: salt and pepper
1/2 c. spaghetti, broken
3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Remove sausage from casing.
Place in a 2-quart microsafe casserole.
Microwave on High power for 4 minutes.
Break up and stir.
Microwave on High power for 3 minutes, until pink color disappears.
Drain all but 1 tablespoon fat.
Stir in onion, green pepper, garlic, tomatoes, water, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and spaghetti.
Stir to combine.
Push spaghetti down into liquid. Cover and microwave on High power for 8 minutes.
Stir and recover.
Microwave on High power for 9 to 10 minutes, until spaghetti is tender.
Sprinkle with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Microwave, uncovered, on High power for 1 to 2 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Serve hot from casserole.
