Cream Cheese Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 mashed bananas or strawberries (optional)
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese and butter until creamy.
    Gradually add sugar.
    Add vanilla; beat until blended.
    Makes 3 cups.
    Optional: Stir in 3/4 cup pecans.
    Add mashed bananas or strawberries. Sprinkle 1/4 cup pecans on top of cake after frosting.
