Apricot-Almond Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. dried apricots, finely chopped
    1 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour bottom of 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Beat egg until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar and oil; mix well.
    Blend flour, baking powder, salt and soda.
    Add flour mixture alternately with orange juice and water.
    Stir in apricots and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan.
