Sauerkraut Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage
    1 c. onion
    1/3 c. flour
    3 c. milk
    1 c. cream or half and half
    1 tsp. thyme
    8 oz. can sauerkraut (undrained)
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute sausage and onion in just a little oil.
    Add flour, milk, cream, thyme, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
    Add sauerkraut and lemon juice.
    Heat through.
    Serve immediately. Garnish with dill if desired.
