Cheese-Ham Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can deviled ham
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1 Tbsp. milk
    snipped parsley (optional)
    1 c. shredded American cheese
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped pimento
    assorted crackers
Preparation
    Have cheese at room temperature in a small mixer bowl. Combine half of the cream cheese and all of the American cheese; beat with electric mixer until blended.
    Beat in deviled ham, stir in pimento and onion.
    Chill mixture for 2 or 3 hours.
    Shape into a ball on a serving plate.
    Combine remaining cream cheese and the milk; beat smooth.
    Spread over ham mixture; chill well.
    Sprinkle with snipped parsley, if desired.
    Serve with crackers.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups.
