Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. corn flakes
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salted, roasted sunflower nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Crush corn flakes.
There should be about 3/4 cup. Blend in flour, salt and 1/4 cup cornflake crumbs.
(Reserve remaining 1/2 cup crumbs.)
Stir in sunflower nuts.
Chill dough thoroughly.
