Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 c. evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes in salt water, mash.
Add butter, sugar, salt, cinnamon, egg yolks, milk and lemon juice.
Beat well.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold gently but thoroughly into mixture.
Pour into unbaked crust.
Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0. Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes.
