Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder, soda and salt.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Mix in thoroughly the egg, orange rind and nuts.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice.
    Bake in a greased 5-cup ring mold in a slow oven (325\u00b0) about 45 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool on rack.
    Ice with softened cream cheese. Decorate with slices of stuffed olives and serve with fruit salad.
