Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 stick margarine
    2 lb. Southern style hash browns (frozen)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (16 oz.) sour cream
    1 c. corn flakes
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Brown onion in 1/2 stick margarine in skillet.
    In large mixing bowl, mix hash browns, cheese, soups, sour cream and salt. Add cooked onion.
    Melt 1/2 stick margarine in skillet, then add corn flakes.
    Put potato mixture in 3-quart oblong casserole. Sprinkle cornflakes on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
