Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 medium ripe tomatoes
    8 good size onions
    2 red hot peppers
    2 sweet green peppers
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 1/2 c. white vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Parboil tomatoes.
    Remove skin and chop into small pieces. Peel onions and cut and remove seeds from peppers.
    Use grinder or food processor to chop up onions and peppers.
    Combine everything in an enamel pan and cook from 2 1/2 to 3 hours over low heat.
    Can hot; put in hot jars.
