Brownie Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. unsifted flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate over hot water in double boiler, then cool. Beat eggs and shortening together well.
    Add sugar; beat until well mixed.
    Stir in flour, salt and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Spoon into greased and floured pan that is 9 x 5-inch.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
