Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
3/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients, only adding enough milk for a thick batter.
Put into hot fat by dropping a teaspoonful at a time. Fry until golden brown.
