Aunt Nellie'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. prunes, cooked and chopped
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla together.
    Sift flour with salt, soda and spices.
    Add alternately with buttermilk to first mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add prunes and nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour until cake tests done. Cool in pan.
