Twinkie Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box Twinkies
    1 large box orange Jell-O
    1 c. hot water
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 small container frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
    Cut Twinkies in half lengthwise.
    Line an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with the Twinkies, cream side up.
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
    Add drained pineapple and softened ice cream to the Jell-O; mix well by hand.
    Pour mixture over Twinkies. Refrigerate until set, then top with whipped topping.
    Cut into squares to serve.
