Banana Pudding #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    1 lb. bananas
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 pkg. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Mix 2 beaten egg yolks with 1/4 cup milk in saucepan.
    Add pudding mix; blend.
    Stir in 1 1/4 cups milk gradually.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat and cool.
    Alternate vanilla wafers, sliced bananas and pudding in baking dish, holding back a portion of the pudding for the top.
    Beat 2 egg whites until foamy.
    Add sugar, beating.
    Pile on pudding.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
