Frosty Strawberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. melted margarine
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 large container Cool Whip
    10 oz. frozen strawberries, thawed
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Stir first 4 ingredients.
    Spread in shallow baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Sprinkle 2/3 of crumbs in 13 x 9-inch pan (glass dish works best).
    Combine egg whites, sugar, thawed strawberries and lemon juice.
    Beat with mixer on high to stiff peaks (about 10 minutes).
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Spoon over crumbs.
    Top with remaining crumbs.
    Freeze about 6 hours.
    Let stand 1/2 hour before serving.
