Filled Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts or coconut (if desired)
Preparation
    Cream butter with brown sugar and salt.
    Blend in flour and oats until fine.
    Press 3/4 of mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Heat condensed milk in saucepan.
    Stir in chips and nuts. Pour over mixture in pan.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or a light golden brown. Butterscotch chips may be substituted for the chocolate chips.
