Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    softened margarine
    14 slices bread
    1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (1/2 lb.)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    8 eggs
    3 c. milk
Preparation
    Spread margarine on one side of bread slices; cut bread into small cubes.
    Combine bread cubes, sausage, cheese, salt and pepper; stir well.
    Beat eggs until foamy; stir in milk.
    Add egg mixture to sausage mixture, stirring well.
    Pour into lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown.
    Serve immediately.
    Yield:
    10 to 12 servings.
