Ingredients

1 c. butter (1/2 lb. do not use margarine)
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. 10x sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter, oil and both sugars.
Add vanilla and eggs and cream again.
Sift dry ingredients into creamed mixture and blend well.
Roll teaspoon of dough into a ball and roll into granulated sugar.
Press down with glass on cookie sheet or use a fork to make a design.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Yields 5 to 6 dozen cookies.
