Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. cooking fat
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced, cooked meat
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk or meat stock
    1/2 c. diced, cooked carrots
Preparation
    Slowly brown onion, pepper, celery and meat in cooking fat, stirring constantly.
    Add flour slowly, stirring constantly until brown.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Pour into shallow, well-oiled baking dish.
    Cover with biscuits.
    Bake in a hot 450\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
