1-2-3 Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole kernel corn
    2 cans chili with beans
    3 cans tamales
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Empty cans of chili into slow cooker.
    Unwrap tamales; remove paper wrappers and slice each into four pieces.
    Add to chili; add on can of corn which has been drained.
    Salt and pepper lightly. Do not stir, but distribute gently with a spatula.
    Cook in slow cooker on high for 30 minutes to an hour, then turn to low setting; cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
    Stir again lightly.
    Add cheese on top one hour before serving time.
    Serve with corn chips.
